Rhetorex, Inc. was founded in March, 1988 with the specific goal of becoming the voice processing industry leader in the design, development, manufacturing and marketing of microcomputer-based Digital Signal Processing (DSP) hardware and software. Rhetorex introduced the first multi-port DSP-based voice processing platform and continues to lead the industry in this state-of-the-art technology. Rhetorex is located in the heart of Silicon Valley with additional offices in New Jersey, Georgia, Texas, Illinois and the United Kingdom. In 1994 Rhetorex became a wholly owned subsidiary of Octel Communications Corp., the worldwide leader in voice information processing with over 30,000 systems installed in 42 countries. Founded in 1982, Octel is headquartered in Milpitas, California. Rhetorex offers a wide range of products to fit the needs of almost any computer telephony application.
Ranges from 2 to 32 lines per slot, in half-size and full-size cards, and compatible with the ABC or MVIP open architecture connector bus. All Rhetorex products are based on DSP technology, and feature proprietary high-performance Rhetorex DSP algorithms. All boards use either 8 or 16bit ISA bus.
